Morning-Liner Plus was introduced to the racing public by Phillips Racing Newsletter (PRN), an advocate of horse players everywhere, in September 1989. Russ Dietrich, its editor and publisher, hailed Plus as "a breakthrough in state-of-the-art handicapping." After testing the prototype program, Dietrich awarded Morning-Liner Plus the highest rating ever given in his publication's 15 year history, which has still never been exceeded.
For three consecutive months, Plus was featured in PRN. The program enjoyed swift popularity among Dietrich's readers. Within that period, Plus became the most popular handicapping program in America. Hundreds of copies were sold, as the program's success was further spread by word-of-mouth. Years later, we have still not run a single advertisement, nor do we resort to purchasing (or selling) mailing lists. However, our software remains the professional handicapper's choice.
Bloodstock Research Information Services (BRIS), is a superb electronic data information service. They provide handicapping data via modem to a new breed of horse player. If you are unfamiliar with the power of the unique BRIS Class and Speed ratings, you owe it to yourself to give them a call. BRIS soon recognized the popularity of Morning-Liner Plus. Their phone banks were flooded with reports from satisfied users, and with inquiries from others wanting to know how to order their software.
In March of 1990, Bloodstock created a new database, dedicated solely to Morning-Liner Plus users. Some slight modifications were made to our original program, and we simply called the later program Morning-Liner Plus II. Since 1988, we have worked to deliver to the Information Age Handicapper a variety of top quality, competively priced handicapping tools. The Plus series of programs have established themselves as the most widely used handicapping programs in America.
In August of 1991, Morning-Liner Plus II was upgraded again and renamed Plus III Enhanced. We threw in everything but the kitchen sink into this version. The program included features never before seen in handicapping software. Now, in 1996, Plus V Enhanced has been released with even more features. To see a list of Plus V's new features, click here.
Literally hundreds of Morning-Liner programs have been sold to satisfied users over the past few years at prices up to $599. Through a special arrangment with Bloodstock Research , we are proud to announce that you may now acquire America's favorite software for next to nothing-- a $5.95 S/H charge. Ordering Plus V Enhanced won't even cost you a postage stamp. Just call Bloodstock Research at 1-800-354-9206 and say "Missing Link sent me." They will send you an information package about their service with a coupon to order Plus V. Bloodstock even supplies user support for Plus V via their 800 number.
Once you see Plus V Enhanced and put it to the test, we hope that you will consider some of our other, more advanced products.
